Yesterday I was watching a program in sign language with some of the residents when I colleague came in. She watched it with us for a while, and said that it must be a really cool language to learn. I agreed.

The nurse told me today that the healing process is going on well, and that my wound looks good so far. When I asked her about what kind of scar it would leave, she gave me a worried look, whispered it would be big, and carried on immediately with a bunch of advice about how to minimize the effects.

Very few people realise that part of the universe is actually situated in their own bedroom. I mean, we're talking about the cosmos, right? This huuuuuge thing. Yet we don't have to go far to see it.
